Former Celtic reserve captain Mcinroy joins Pars in loan deal
Celtic midfielder Kerr Mcinroy has signed for Dunfermline Athletic on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old was Celtic’s reserve team captain but sustained a torn anterior crucial ligament during a game against Motherwell reserves in May 2019. The injury kept him out until February this year and he only got a few games under his belt before football was paused due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Mcinroy is a Dunfermline fan and said: “I am local, grew up in Dunfermline and stay just ten minutes away from the ground. I used to come to games here with my Granda. I know what Dunfermline is all about as a club. I had a season ticket at one time and came to the games quite a lot.”
He has been capped 15 times by Scotland at under-19 level.
