Scots wearable fitness tracker launch
A Glasgow-based star t-up is looking to take giant strides into the running industry after receiving backing for a fitness tracker that can help prevent injuries.
Attis Fitness has launched its de but product, St ridesense, after four years of development.
The product is being billed as the only wearable fitness tracker on the market that can analyse a runner’s whole st ride without the need to visit a laboratory.
The venture is looking to take its tech worldwide after a six-figure investment from an investor group led by Gabriel Investment Syn - dicate.
Other investors in cluded Strathclyde University’ s Strathclyde Entrepreneurs Fund, castle Investment sand Scottish Enterprise.
Company founder Tim Elizondo, 26, said: “Our mission is to change the fitness tracking market for the better, by making professional running laboratory-grade technology accessible to all runners. In doing so, we’ll help people both improve their running and lessen the risk of injuries.

The lab -grade wearable fitness tracker consists of five motion tracking sensors, which are placed around the legs and waist sin secured pocket sin St ride sense leggings, which connect via bluetooth to the app.
It is said to be the first fitness tracker on the market that measures the whole st ride, not just the movement of wrist s or feet. The movement of users is tracked across ten specialised running metrics to provide personalised feedback.
