Wilson sacked by Brechin City after poor start to campaign

Mark Wilson has been relieved of his duties as manager of Brechin City, the League 2 club have announced.

Brechin have lost all five matches in the Bet fred Cup and league so far this season, conceding at least three goals in each game.

Joining Wilson in heading through the exit door is assistant manager Simon Donnelly.

A short statement on the club website read: “Brechin City announce that manager Mark Wilson and assistant manager Simon Donnelly have been released from their contracts and have left the club with immediate effect .”
