Two players test positive for Covid after playing at Parkhead

Celtic are on aler t after t wo Milan stars who played in the Europa League clash at Parkhead tested positive for Covid-19.

Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and substitute Jens Petter Hauge, who netted the visitors’ third goal in the 3-1 win, along with three members of the back room staff returned positive results and will now have to isolate.

The Italian club had been preparing to f ace Roma on

Monday night as the Serie A leaders looked to extend their lead at the top to four points when the news came through.

They said in a statement: "AC Milan announces that the results received from the laboratory yesterday evening found a positive swab by G ian luigi Donna rum ma,

Jens Petter Hauge and three other members of the team group. All are asymptomat­ic, were immediatel­y subjected to home isolation and the local health authoritie­s were informed. The whole team group was tested again, as per protocol, and no new positive result was found."
