Twitter has announced it will launch a “super follow” feature, which lets users charge for access to exclusive content. @Dt2comics chat wrote: “2021: Twitter now charging for reading Premium Tweets! 2022: What's a Twitter?" @Northerngrey tweeted: “I’ll just unfollow anyone who wants money from me.” @wardmcpherson said: “That'll be the day I pay to use @Twitter. I delete my account if I have to pay." @agentplaybook said: “Paying for social media will end social media.” @tieman50 wrote: “My tweets are worth exactly what your paying for ‘em. I think I have a lot to say, but basically this just allows me to formulate thought and blow off steam. Quickly." @Mcneilcolin wrote: “So #Riptwitter is trending because of the paid Super Follows announcement. But I feel like most people are missing the intended point. It's not so you have to "pay for tweets", surely? It's to encourage more robust content creation native to the platform. Content that's worth money." @louvlycacta tweeted: “Why do I think that Harry's team will use this to their full advantage.”

The Duke of Sussex spoke to TV’S James Corden about his desire for privacy. @toadmeister wrote: “Prince Harry tells James Corden the reason he ‘stepped back’ from his Royal duties is because the media’s interest in his private life was taking a toll on his mental health... then reveals his wife’s pet name for him, Archie’s first word and what the Queen got him for Christmas.” @loren017mary adde: “And then promptly invades the Queen's and PP'S privacy telling stories about them. Think they consented to have those stories told?” @jozmee replied: “I am in no way a royalist but this way... he has control over it (and what he does with is life and when he does it), which he didn’t have before.” @Hallrmedia said: “And moved to the media capital of the world and signed two lucrative contacts with... media companies!” @Annewatkis wrote: “I’ve seen the video. He wanted to leave the Royal Family but continually hints at his royal status. I don’t want him back in the UK. He courts the publicity out there.” @big_fat_ jones noted: “The media are so harsh on him.. Unless they're paying.”
