Food photos are a feast for the eyes in competition
The joy of a winemaker drinking straight from the barrel he's holding above his head and a wonderfully composed portrait of fisherman casting their baskets have both made it to the final of an international food photography competition.
Around 9,000 pictures from across the globe were whittled down by judges to 28 categories in the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year shortlist.
For sheer joy it would be hard to beat Gilbert Bages from Spain's shot of the wine being drunk straight from the cask in the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the year category.
