Man rescued after falling overboard
A man was rescued after falling overboard from a vessel in the Firth of Forth.
A rescue helicopter and an RNLI lifeboat were mobilised following the alarm being raised.
the man was rescued by his own vessel after being in the water for ten minutes.
A spokesperson for the RNLI said: “Kinghorn RNLI responded following a mayday call from a vessel south of Burntisland. The ca sualty had been recovered back to his vessel and was able to walk off the boat to an ambulance in Burntisland.”
