Family values: Mother and daughter graduate after lockdown studies

For many families, lockdown was a constant balance of home-schooling, homeworking and catching up with friends and relatives over endless video calls.

But for one mother and daughter, they had the added stress of completing a University degree too. Hannah Lawlor, 21, and mum Vicki, 43, spent countless days hunkered around their dining room table, supporting each other to complete their studies. But all the work was worth it, as they graduated together from the University of Stirling.
