I wish you had said face masks are the best thing in the world and should be used for ever and people should keep three metres distance. Then a big chance that we could had got rid of masks instantly here in Scotland and special rewards considered for people who give a random hug to each other on the streets!

Mitra Rostamipour I agree they should stay. UK Government is moving too fast lifting restrictions when infection rates are so high. People are still getting very ill and if too many get ill at the same time and need hospital care the NHS could be overwhelmed again very fast. We've not even had the full ‘consequences’ of supporters who have travelled for the football yet! What might they bring with them?

Jacqueline Calder You should check the numbers. No rise in hospitalisations or deaths. Most countries that have stopped restrictions are doing better than us, and definitely not worse. The NHS has been overwhelmed for decades, look at the headlines every winter. At some points instead of paying everyone’s wages for month not to overwhelm the NHS let’s put more money into the NHS so it’s not overwhelmed maybe?

Should stay for a bit longer. People still need to be fully vaccinated and some just don't want the vaccine. Masks should definitely stay for public transport.
