Her Royal Highness, Patron, Aerospace Bristol, this afternoon opened the Conservati­on in Action Workshop in Hayes Way, Patchway, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-lieutenant of Gloucester­shire (Mr. Edward Gillespie).

The Duke of Kent, Chancellor, this afternoon presided over the University of Surrey Degree Ceremonies in Guildford Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty's Lordlieute­nant of Surrey (Mr. Michael More-molyneux).
