#JOHNSON U-TURN

Boris Johnson and Rishi Sunak will now self-isolate in reversal of an earlier exemption as part of a pilot scheme

@jon_trickett tweeted – Disgraceful. Boris Johnson first said he wouldn’t isolate despite meeting the Health Secretary on Friday. Now he has reversed the decision upon realisation he’s damaged the entire Test & Trace programme. Reckless, immature and dangerous.

@Bill_esterson asks – Before the U-turn, how many contacts did Johnson and Sunak make until they decided they would selfisolate after all?

@Stephenmorganmp responded – There’s something seriously wrong at the heart of this government when the Prime Minister and Chancellor even thought it was OK for hundreds of thousands of working people to selfisolate but create a loophole for themselves.

#TOM O’CONNOR

Tributes after comedian Tom O’connor dies aged 81. @Morris__bright was Deeply saddened Tom O'connor has died. Nicest person I've met in the business. Great supporter of British comedy & charity too. We spent many happy hours together over the years with him as auctioneer at Brit Com Society events. Thoughts & prayers with his wife Pat.
