#ROMANABRAMOVICH

Chelsea football club owner Roman Abramovich has been named as one of seven Russian oligarchs who will have their UK assets frozen and travel limited.

@balmig wrote: “Why did Britain wait so long and give him ample time to hide his assets? What is the US waiting for?”

@2951cfb tweeted: “Most of the superyachts knowingly owned by those sanctioned were allowed to leave Nato & Western controlled ports even after the sanctions, looks like a load of hot air these sanctions.”

@ewllesleydow tweeted: “He was asking £3 billion for [Chelsea]. Now he's getting nothing. His houses etc seized. I am sure the sanctions will hit him in the pocket.”

@mise_pradeep asked: “So we can freeze assets of people who don't have any direct relation in war?”

@Heather856 said: “Completely agree with sanctioning him but he isn’t going to be the person that suffers most from preventing Chelsea being sold, must be some way to sell and he doesn’t get money. This will lead to more fans suffering, not him.”

@victorpatson01 said: “Sanctioning chelsea owner… do you think it will end Russian and Ukraine war? I don't think this is the way out. You can't use fire to quench fire! This will only bring more war and I really hope the supporters of this sanction are ready for that! It’s now personal.”

#NETFLIX

Streaming giant Netflix announced price increase for subscribers in UK and Ireland – the second hike in 18 months.

@shedontlive wrote: “Hope the person whose account I'm using keeps up with the payments.”

@larrytheflier2 said: “Bye Bye Netflix, gonna walk the pier and listen to podcasts instead.”

@janesalltrades wrote: “So I just rec'd an email saying my monthly Netflix charges are going up in April. You said that was because you're offering more value. What’s more value look like? With your amount of users I can't imagine why you would need to increase prices.”

@sliewehr wrote: “Screw you @netflix .You’re raising prices because you have zero subscriber growth, not because you’re ‘bringing me more value’. No details whatsoever on how you’re ‘bringing me more great entertainment’. Just gouging because you can."
