Traditionally, they were made from the less desirable cuts of meat as a means of reducing waste, but over time, using better quality meat in sausages is something that we have come to expect. However, when it comes to buying a sausage, the quality really does vary. Plus, Amanda Byram discovers the hi-tech solution to cutting a perfect slice of millionaire’s shortbread.
