Conservative leadership hopefuls have been told by the SNP deputy leader Keith Brown to “look in the mirror” over calls for greater scrutiny of the Scottish Government, as both have snubbed scrutiny sessions in the Scottish Parliament, he said.
And why would they consider that knowing the obnoxious abuse they would have got, Perth being a prime example – whether you agree or disagree with them, that sort of conduct is not necessary.

The hustings are their chance to speak/answer questions to the membership of the Conservatives in the hope of getting their votes. Trying to create another false snub.

I mean, Truss talks about scrutiny with one hand whilst proudly stating she will scrap the parliamentary investigation into Johnson with the other. She is an empty vessel saying whatever will get the papers, and by extension the 140k Tory party members, on side.

Yes, the UK needs modernisation, starting in Westminster, which should sit full time, using the electronic voting system as in Scotland and closing cheap food and drink outlets which the taxpayer subsidises, as this should improve the amount of work done for the
