Fair chance

The Country Living Christmas Fair opens today at the SEC in Glasgow and runs for four days until Sunday.

Hundreds of UK designers, makers, and boutique businesses will gather to offer gifts, decorations, crafts, food, drinks and inspired interior ideas.

Visitors can attend a range of demonstrations, workshops and culinary tasting sessions.

Crafting experts will lead attendees through interactive workshops making everything from needle-felted baubles to reindeer bunting, Christmas table decorations and more.

Festive recipes will be prepared live on stage at the event in the Country Living Kitchen.

New for 2022 are tasting sessions where visitors can indulge in chocolate, learn how to pair wine with festive dishes, or sample this season’s best mulled gins.
