Police appeal after fatal crash

Police officers are appealing for information after a fatal crash in Perthshire.

The crash involved a white Mini Cooper and took place on Thursday at about 9.20pm on the A9 north of Perth, between Luncarty and Bankfoot, near Newmill Farm. The driver, a 55-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene and inquiries into the crash are ongoing.

Inspector Gregory Burns said: "We are appealing for anyone in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch.”
