#RANGERS

Rangers FC said yesterday it had parted company with manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

@Baldyjl tweeted: “Now that the club have made a decision which was the correct one, all I have to say now is, thank you Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Ross Wilson can go next.” @chachi2022 said: “Shocking decision. Never given enough time.” @ann_mbe added: “Needing to sack the work shy prima donnas, not the manager.” @Mickmon61 said: “Sign a Scottish manager who knows what football is like in Scotland, surely couldn't be any worse off than the past two, or give Stephen Gerrard a call, he's in the buroo at the moment!”

@celtic_now said: “And the next manager will be a massive downgrade, guaranteed, Rangers will take another 10 years to catch up.” @scottishwomble said: “As an outsider, I blame the team or at least the "big stars" within the team.” @Jondonbear tweeted: “Time for big Sean Dyches.” @Kinnes65 said: “Great guy but it just wasn't happening… and he just couldn't see it. Good luck in your future Gio. Europe was one thing but we need better than what you could give us in the SPFL.”

@glutenberg tweeted: “Me too. Watching England via an illegal stream. A new low.” @terrytibe replied: “Get a television, you peasant” @sarasmithxo wrote: “Anyone else’s BBC iplayer not working? Got a full class of 30 kids here. Promised them the game this afternoon if they did all their work this morning. Sort it out please.”

@Lisa_baynes replied: “Yeah, can’t log in. Massive problems it seems judging by Twitter right now.” @Richardfaragher said: “Same here, sounds about right for #brokenbritain.” @carlappleyard8 said: “What a time to go down.” @martialprop21 advised: “Watch it on normal television.”

@lewdawg explained: “I’m out and about, sadly.”
