Sturgeon on case

-

Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon called on UK Transport Secretary Mark Harper to immediately intervene to help resolve the rail disputes which have triggered a series of Christmas strikes.

Scotland – Ministers can't get involved. RUK – Minister must get involved. Typical Nat hypocrisy.

kmcn Oh, just like Sturgeon sorted out the NHS nurses’ pay demands…

Robert Mcgarrie The Scottish Government engaged with the nurses, which is more than can be said about Westminster.

George Scott Just automate the trains, saves you drivers’ wages which can go to technicians and repairman.

Brij Patel Just about all last week there wasn't a single train arrived at or departed Aberdeen. In England there seemed to be loads of them. It is time you buttoned your lip, Madam, you just exacerbate matters.

Rail workers are relatively well paid. Many of the people they inconvenience less so. Like the other union blackmailers, they are completely selfish, in seeking to be fully compensated for current hard times caused by external factors.

Jock Tamson Away and sort out your ferries!

Paul Holyrood Stepping in to ask HQ to sort something is I suppose Ms Sturgeon's only option, push it up the line so someone else can be blamed.

Luckie Mucklebakit Perhaps Sturgeon should concentrate on sorting out the strike action being taken by nurses in the NHS in Scotland – that's the pay dispute and strike action by nurses in the NHS in Scotland that Sturgeon claimed she had settled with her renowned negotiating skills. Ahm no bluffin’

Midwife crisis

Midwives across Scotland have overwhelmingly rejected the latest pay offer from the Scottish Government, paving the way for possible industrial action.

Good luck to them and all the strikers in different sectors, When you see people complaining about how much debt the country is in and the pay rises are unaffordable, you realise how brainwashed people are.

Dougie Stewart Not more strikes, everyone is jumping on this bandwagon, so far these rises are going to cost at least 40 billion and were in over a trillion debt, it’s like they want us bankrupt.
