Taxing time

-

Nicola Sturgeon has challenged other party leaders to follow suit after her tax returns for the years dating back to 2014 were published by the SNP.

Paid 4 times the average nurse, teacher or police. Is she worth it? No!

Alexander Duncan Heavily vetted, of that I have no doubt. And isn't it interesting that they can easily find Nicola s tax returns, but cannot locate memos, or any information AT ALL as to where the money from Westminster (which was supposed to have been spent on our NHS) went. It's over £10 billion across their tenure. That's not careless, or even bad bookkeeping, that's deliberate.

Paul Johnston £17.6 billion that should have been spent on the NHS which has been spent in undisclosed areas.

Lynda Jones Oh look there’s a squirrel... Diversionary tactics as we all know.

Fiona Ogilvie Taylor Totally overpaid for making one bad decision after another. Now, what about her expenses account? I bet every dress skirt, suit, shoes, heels, hair is hammered on to the taxpayers’ bill.

Robert Sharp Well done. But why has it taken so long to do so? The Cynic in me says she is only doing it because Sunak hasn’t, and is coming under pressure to do so.

William Rendle The most blatant attempt ever to divert attention from her car crash Gender Reform Bill antics and the wheels falling off the clown car…

Mark Wood So what? All that proves is that is her only taxable income. Even though she wants Scotland to leave the UK, there is nothing to stop her taking advantage of UK tax legislation to put 20,000 a year into an ISA (and her husband could do the same) to earn increasing amounts tax free, which would not need to be shown on any tax.

Hazel Smith What it proves is the FM is claiming to not know when, where or why her husband decides to loan over £100k to their party. Sounds like a marriage from the Fifties rather then one of the progressive, feminist, strong woman she claims to be.
