Mark’s lambs top Forfar at £210
BLACKFACE ewe lambs from Mark Simpson, Sidlaw, topped Lawrie and Symington’s sale of 2298 breeding and store sheep at Forfar, selling for £210 per head.
Mr Simpson also won the show of Blackface wedder lambs, judged by Tom Strang, Balcalk, which went on to sell for £84 per head while the second prize winners from Rickarton Farms made £83 and the yellow rosette holders from Glen Prosen Estates made £85.
