The weather was a perfect sunny and warm autumn day and could not have been improved upon, with lots of high quality entries in the dairy section which would not have been out of place at any larger event.

This was the Holstein Friesian champion and it was was the first winner of the Walston Cup, presented by Alastair McClymont in memory of his late father, John McClymont and was backed by generous prize money. Carngillan also took the overall points trophy.

The reserve dairy title was won by Mungo Bryson, Whiteflat, Catrine.

Ssupreme horse from Samantha Cole of Kirkland Farm, Kilmarnock, with the rider being Mandy Brown.
