Fergie Brown NO44D tractor makes £22,500
MORE than 1000 purchasers and enthusiasts were forward for an on-farm sale staged on behalf of Willis Wharton, Green Rose, Crackenthorpe, Appleby, where 706 lots of vintage and classic farm machinery and tractors were sold.
The sale, staged by Penrith and District Farmers Mart LLP, sold to £22,500 for a much sought-after Fergie Brown NO44D, purchased by a collector from Edinburgh.
A rare collectors’ piece, a Ferguson Welder, attracted huge attention and eventually sold for £16,000.
