Nunscleugh leads Longtown store cattle at £1820
A second prize Limousin heifer went on to secure the top price of £1820 at C and D Auction Marts’ show and sale of 618 store cattle for WH and DA Gass, Nunscleugh, who also led the bullocks at £1580.
Judge, James Crichton, awarded the championship to a Limousin heifer from DA and MA Teasdale, Grindon Hill, which later realised £1450, whilst the reserve, a Limousin bullock from G Mitchinson and Sons, Gallowberry, made £1420.
