Scots star in Hampshire Down flock competition

SCOTTISH breeders starred in the National Hampshire Down Sheep Breeders’ Association flock competition, winning several of the top awards to include the reserve ram lambs and second prize in the small breeders section.

Dumfriesshire- based enthusiasts, Andrew and Louise Goldie took the blue and white sash amongst the ram lambs, while Geoff Todd and Angela Shaw, Portpatrick, Stranraer, came second in the small breeders.

Norfolk breeders, Eleanor and Annabel Jones, Black Barn, Morley St Botolph, Wymondham, took the award for the supreme flock.
