Scots star in Hampshire Down flock competitio­n

SCOTTISH breeders starred in the National Hampshire Down Sheep Breeders’ Associatio­n flock competitio­n, winning several of the top awards to include the reserve ram lambs and second prize in the small breeders section.

Dumfriessh­ire- based enthusiast­s, Andrew and Louise Goldie took the blue and white sash amongst the ram lambs, while Geoff Todd and Angela Shaw, Portpatric­k, Stranraer, came second in the small breeders.

Norfolk breeders, Eleanor and Annabel Jones, Black Barn, Morley St Botolph, Wymondham, took the award for the supreme flock.
