We don’t need no education, Kate tells her model sis

-

KATE MOSS may have hit 40 this year but the new model on the family production line – her 16-year-old half-sister Lottie – is already plotting the next step in her catwalk career.

Leggy Lottie plans to quit school when she finishes her GCSES next month and fly to New York with Kate to visit modelling agencies. the move is said to have infuriated her mother Inga, wife of Kate’s father Peter, who was hoping Lottie would stay on at school.

‘her mother is a very intense and opinionated person, she would rather Lottie continued her education,’ a source said. ‘But Lottie is not very academic. she needed extra lessons to get through GCses.’

Lottie, pictured left with Kate, attends a comprehensive in West sussex and caught the eye of the fashion industry when she was pictured at Kate’s wedding to Jamie hince in 2011.

Offers flooded in, but were resisted by Inga. When she did a shoot for fashion mag Dazed & Confused at the age of 15 Inga refused to allow publication until she was 16. After the pictures finally appeared, Kate’s agency, storm, listed Lottie as one of its top models. Now Kate is keen Lottie wastes no more time. ‘Kate says that if she wants to capitalise on the media furore surrounding her, the smart move is to leave school,’ another source said. ‘Kate left school at a young age and never looked back.’
