Twiggy’s dress fails to impress
The Marks & Spencer range modelled by Twiggy is meant to revive the firm’s fortunes, but these so-called fashions are boring, dull and badly cut. They look as if they were sketched by art students who have no idea about female form or the way clothes can be alluring and flattering. It’s yet another disaster for M&S, because they simply do not realise that women want style.
Looking at the competition, Next has a fantastic range – elegant and feminine, with touches that lift the clothes from the ordinary to the special.

Those dresses even managed to make the lovely Twiggy look frumpy. And why are there no floral prints? Jacqueline Honeyball, Eastbourne
Just one word to describe Twiggy’s M&S frocks – ghastly! Bill Hollowell, Peterborough
