Russia extended their unbeaten run to nine matches with an unconvincing 1-1 draw in Norway yesterday. Oleg Shatov (right) fired Russia in front in the third minute but they failed to build on their advantage and Anders Konradsen headed a 77th-minute equaliser. The performance will have concerned Capello, whose team were just as unimpressive against Slovakia last Monday.
