ALLOA ATHLETIC 0 RAITH ROVERS 1

-

RAITH ROVERS boss Grant Murray says his side will be the envy of all after making it two wins from two league games at Alloa.

Ryan Conroy’s fourth-minute strike gave Raith something to hang on to and they did that, despite a spirited display from the home side. Murray admitted: ‘We are delighted. Everyone wants to start the season well and now we’ve got six points on the board.’

The visitors could not have hoped for a better start as Conroy steamed in past marker Michael Doyle to score, while the closest Alloa came to an equaliser was in 33 minutes when Jason Marr’s header ricocheted off the post.
