SHE has already romanced a prince – and now Cressida Bonas has fallen for a member of the showbusiness world’s ‘royal family’.

The aspiring actress has enjoyed two dates with Riot Club star Freddie Fox in the space of a week, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

The pair made their first public appearance together last Sunday at a West End screening of Tim Burton’s movie Big Eyes, and on Friday night they were spotted at celebrity hotspot Chateat Marmont in Los Angeles.

Freddie, 26, is the son Edward Fox, star of classic 1973 film The Day Of The Jackal, and the brother of Silent Witness actress Emilia Fox.

‘Freddie and Cressida were very close and affectionate,’ a guest at the London screening told The Mail on Sunday last night. ‘They spent half an hour deep in conversation in a corner by the bar. When the film started, they had to sit separately because there weren’t any seats together and they both looked very disappointed.’

The event also proved a valuable networking opportunity for 25-yearold Cressida, who was introduced by Freddie to veteran actor Charles Dance. She got on so well with the White Mischief star that when the film finished, Dance, 68, was seen embracing her warmly. Later in the week Freddie and Cressida jetted off to the United States, and enjoyed an evening at Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. Her friends say that the fact she has been on a couple of dates with single Freddie is proof that she is over her two-year romance with Prince Harry.

Cressida – whose first film, Tulip Fever, is released later this year – split from the Prince last spring.

The couple had been tipped to get engaged but the relationship came to an abrupt end and, despite attempts at a reconciliation, the romance has fizzled out.

One of Cressida’s family friends said: ‘She and Harry still speak and she is very fond of him. But there were too many complications dating Harry.’

Another source said Cressida and Freddie consider themselves ‘just friends’. A spokesman for Cressida declined to comment.
