Win a visit from a real astronaut

-

IF YOU want to find out all about rockets, the Moon and reaching infinity and beyond, there’s only one place to go: Florida’s Kennedy Space Center.

But here’s a chance to learn some of the secrets of space a little bit closer to home, in a great competition which will see one lucky school win a visit from an astronaut.

We’ve teamed up with Attraction Tickets Direct and the Kennedy Space Center to bring US astronaut James F. Reilly to a UK school in March, and Mail on Sunday readers can win this exciting experience on behalf of a child in their family.

All you have to do is nominate their school, and they could be learning all about space travel from the man who has spent more than 850 hours in space and completed five spacewalks. During three shuttle missions and multiple visits to the International Space Station, James travelled a total of more than 14million miles and orbited the Earth more than 550 times.

The school visit will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. To enter the competition, visit attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/space. There is also the chance to win £5,000 back off the price of a holiday to Orlando, for new bookings made before March 31 that include the purchase of Kennedy Space Center tickets. The Kennedy Space Center is the world’s most authentic space attraction, where you can walk among giant rockets, train in flight simulators and even touch a piece of Mars.
