ACTIVLIFE HIGH VISIBILITY RUNNING VEST
From a safety perspective this is a great investment – good for running or even walking your children to school on dark mornings.
The label says it will last for only a maximum of 25 washes so it won’t go on for ever. The material feels a little scratchy, but as it’s loose and designed to be worn over clothes, that shouldn’t matter too much.
ACTIVLIFE LADIES’ WEIGHTLIFTING GLOVES
These gloves are made from rubber and polyester. More expensive weightlifting gloves can cost up to £30, but they tend to be made of leather to give you a better grip and allow the skin to breathe, so these could be a bit sweaty. Having said that, they were comfortable and had a good grip. You can’t beat the price – if you lost one it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
ACTIVLIFE WATER BOTTLE
It’s important to stay hydrated when exercising so this water bottle would be a good addition to any sports kit. When I’m running a marathon (I’ve completed five), I tend to discard my bottles along the way so I don’t have to slow down. This one is quite large, so it would be better for male runners or those with bigger hands, but the price means you wouldn’t mind leaving this behind on race day.
ACTIVLIFE SPORTS BAG
The fabric is a little thin, the straps are short and the stitching isn’t great, so I don’t think it would take a lot of heavy kit. It’s also quite small. I’d use this as a back-up, or perhaps for swimwear.
