MoD investigate 3 senior officers over ‘kinky sex’ with civil servant
THE Ministry of Defence has launched an investigation into allegations that at least three married senior British military officers have been involved in kinky sex sessions with a female civil servant.
The woman at the centre of the investigation, Laura Dixon, is also alleged to have had an affair with a senior US officer.
Ms Dixon, 27, is an operational analyst at the headquarters of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC), a high-alert Nato unit based in Gloucester.
The investigation was triggered when a former partner of Ms Dixon sent a letter to top brass alleging that she was having affairs to ‘satisfy her extreme sexual desires’.
In the letter, seen by The Mail on Sunday, Warren Howard – himself a former Army officer – wrote to the MoD: ‘I take little satisfaction in writing to you in this manner.
‘I have done so on the advice of legal representatives.
‘Their counsel is that given the scale, ranks, nationalities and poten- tial impact on the reputation of defence, you should be advised at the earliest opportunity.’
The Nato base is used to plan defences against attack by Britain’s enemies.
The officers face being court-martialed if found to have breached strict guidelines about conduct in professional and personal lives.
The most severe sanction for ‘conduct unbecoming of an officer’ is to be expelled from the Armed Forces.
The letter named respected Lieutenant Colonel Tony Crilly, 58, a married father-of-two, as one of the British officers involved.
It claimed he and Ms Dixon started the affair on a secret exercise codenamed Arcade Fusion last year when Mr Howard and Ms Dixon were still together.
The letter said: ‘The relationship continues, I doubt whether this is with either the knowledge or the consent of Crilly’s wife. This is but the tip of the iceberg. Ms Dixon regularly and concurrently enjoys the attention of several other personnel in your headquarters and across defence.’ Last night Lieut-Col Crilly, a reservist officer, admitted the affair. A friend told The Mail on Sunday: ‘They were introduced on manoeuvres in Cornwall in November 2014 and since then their affair has been on-off.
‘They met for sex sessions and spent time together in the Brecon Beacons earlier this year. He deeply regrets his mistake.’ According to the letter, a married US officer had a ‘particularly prolific’ sexual relationship with Ms Dixon during a Nato exercise in Norway. Two married RAF officers are also accused of continuing affairs with her.
One of the officers is understood to be serving at Permanent Joint Headquarters – a high security base where the UK’s most sensitive military operations are orchestrated.
Mr Howard has been interviewed by Defence officials to discuss his claims. Last night, the MoD confirmed that an investigation had been launched.
Sources have claimed that Ms Dixon enjoyed sex where men and women swapped dominant and sub-

missive roles, dressed up and used sex toys, and were involved in more outlandish role-play.
In July, Mr Howard received a letter, seen by The Mail on Sunday, from Lieutenant Colonel Alistair Fawcett, the Commanding Officer of 22 Signal Regiment, who said: ‘In order to deal with your allegations expeditiously and with due diligence I would be grateful if you could provide me with any evidence that substantiates the claims.’
Ms Dixon, from Northampton, is understood to have left her role at ARRC in the last month.
