The Scottish Mail on Sunday

Welcome to Britain’s favourite Sunday paper

-

IT’S OFFICIAL! You are holding a copy of Britain’s most-read Sunday newspaper.

Latest figures from the National Readership Survey show that your Mail on Sunday, the reigning Newspaper of the Year, has more readers than any other Sunday paper.

While readership of most of our rivals has been falling steadily (The Sunday Times’s by 12 per cent from last year), The Mail on Sunday has increased its January-June figure to 3,740,000, overtaking The Sun on Sunday. You magazine and Event also top the list as first and second most-read Sunday supplements. You’s 2.8million readers is almost double The Sunday Times Magazine’s 1.44million.

Our winning formula? Quality journalism.

The paper triumphed at this year’s Society of Editors’ Press Awards, the newspaper Oscars, with an unprecedented SEVEN major trophies, including the ultimate accolade: Newspaper of the Year.

Our big stories this year have included the campaign to stop Britain’s foreign aid wastage – which generated the fastest-growing newspaper petition and a parliamentary debate – James Hewitt selling the Diana letters, the Tory Party’s bullying scandal, Cameron’s private school U-turn, Blair’s Iraq apology, Corbyn’s ‘slave labour’ T-shirts and investigations of British jihadis. True Success on Sunday.
