7 years for rapist

A MAN who raped and sexually assaulted women while they slept after parties has been jailed for seven years.

Justin Lovell’s offences, which took place in Edinburgh, came to light after police began investigating an attack on a 19-year-old female.

The teenager claimed she had awoken to find herself being attacked following a party in the west of the city in January last year.

Further similar assaults were then uncovered after detectives spoke to more women.

Lovell, 25, was sentenced on Friday at the High Court in Edinburgh after being found guilty of raping two women and sexually assaulting another at various addresses across the city.
