Middlesex and Yorkshire were both left frustrated by rain which forced an early end to their County Championship Division One matches on the final day. The top two were both forced to settle for draws from their trips to Warwickshire and Hampshire respectively, leaving Middlesex with a four-point lead over the defending champions.
