Justice at long last

ELIZABETH Bryce has waited almost 18 years to see justice done in the case of her slain boyfriend Surjit Singh Chhokar.

At times, it seemed that nobody would ever be convicted of his brutal murder.

But last week, thug Ronnie Coulter was found guilty of killing Surjit. He faces life behind bars.

Elizabeth has three times relived in court the final moments of Surjit’s life. Each was a deeply distressing experience. Now, we hope Elizabeth – as well as Mr Chokkar’s family and friends – can move on and live life to its fullest.
