Salmond’s Hearts-ache
HIBS brought the Scottish Cup into Holyrood last week so that politicians could pose with it and get their pictures taken. Several mischievous MSPs (including one or two in the SNP) said it was a shame that Alex Salmond, a devoted Hearts fan, was no longer a member of the Scottish parliament – because the sight of him having to smile while wearing a green and white scarf and grasping the cup won by Hibs would have brought joy to many.
