We can’t call grief an illness
I agree with Peter Hitchens that grief is not a mental illness but a part of life. Unfortunately Princes William and Harry had to deal with theirs very publicly, which must have been difficult. However, I’m sure the Queen has had many times in her life when she was grief-stricken, but she doesn’t allow her personal life to encroach on her public service. Prince Charles is of the same mindset, thank goodness, and I’m sure that when his time comes to be King, he will not fail us. Linda Cragg, Barrowby, Lincolnshire By raising awareness about mental health, William and Harry show they are caring adults who obviously take after their mother. Diana would have been so proud.
