DOBBIE DENIES SLACK FALKIRK

-

PETER HOUSTON cursed Falkirk’s sloppy defending as they lost an equaliser 12 minutes from time.

Stephen Dobbie gave Queen of the South the lead on nine minutes but Nathan Austin drew the Bairns level with a close-range shot on 31 minutes after Queens failed to deal with James Craigen’s free-kick.

Then Austin won a penalty on 71 minutes when Lee Robinson brought him down and Aaron Muirhead slammed home the spot-kick.

However, Falkirk were undone on 78 minutes when Dobbie was unmarked in the box to head home Dom Thomas’s cross.

Houston said: ‘The second goal was absolutely criminal.

‘If we are going to defend like that, then we are not going to do anything in this league.’
