TV STAR Emma Forbes has revealed how a snap taken of her strolling on a beach six years ago changed her life.
When she saw the photo, taken in Barbados in January 2011, she realised how much weight she was carrying – and took drastic action.
In an exclusive interview with today’s You magazine, she says: ‘I honestly didn’t recognise myself. I thought, “Now is the time to really take control of my exercise and my health”.’ The former star of BBC children’s show Live & Kicking went to see a nutritionist in Los Angeles and overhauled her diet.
The mother of two said: ‘I thought I ate healthily, but I talked to a nutritionist and everything changed. I took up a macrobiotic diet, really embraced it, and felt so much better.’
Her transformation has been so impressive she has been signed to model for fashion brand JD Williams.
