My bean feast

A recent report about people favouring Branston beans (below) in a blind taste test took me back to the 1960s. I was finding Heinz beans did not taste as good as they used to, so I did my own tests, with Crosse & Blackwell winning. But soon they disappeared from the shelves. I then noticed that Branston’s owners had taken over the brand. Happily, we could continue to eat our favourites!
