Ro­nan hits right note for Savea


RO­NAN KEAT­ING made sure Ju­lian Savea had a party to re­mem­ber on Fri­day. The for­mer Boy­zone star (below) is fol­low­ing the Lions with son Jack and went to watch the All Blacks winger’s 100th Hur­ri­canes match in Welling­ton. He then re­ceived an in­vi­ta­tion to the Savea house­hold, where he en­ter­tained guests by singing When You Say Noth­ing At All.

MARO ITOJE en­sured all the New Zealand me­dia knew his name af­ter War­ren Gat­land pub­li­cised a sur­vey that claimed 78 per cent of Ki­wis could not iden­tify a sin­gle Lions player. Be­fore tak­ing his seat for a press con­fer­ence at the team ho­tel, the Eng­land lock in­tro­duced him­self to all 15 re­porters, shak­ing their hands and say­ing: ‘Hi, I’m Maro, nice to meet you.’
