Hogg suffers unkindest cut as he is forced off by Murray’s elbow

THE Lions had to overcome more than the Crusaders yesterday — they had to deal with bad luck as well. Full-back Stuart Hogg left the field with blood pouring from a cut (left) after running into the raised elbow of scrum-half Conor Murray (above left) as he chased the ball. He went down instantly (above right) and was treated on the field (below) before having to depart. He was replaced by Anthony Watson.
