SIGNATURE HOLE AT ERIN HILLS

-

HOLE NINE

135, 143 or 150 yards, par three In the middle of a course of monstrous length lies a gem of a short par three that, unless the wind is howling, will play no longer than a wedge shot whichever of three tees is employed.

The penalty for getting the shot wrong, however, is potentially calamitous with no fewer than seven deep bunkers offering ample protection.

One of those holes where there should be plenty of twos….but there will also be more than one or two fives.
