‘THE NUMBERS THAT WILL BE FOR EVER LOCKED IN MY HEAD’

JON and colleague Terry were told to head to Flat 113 on the 14th floor, and tried twice to reach it but each time had to rescue women and children from lower floors first. They were then ordered to get out of the blazing tower. Jon says the numbers 113 and 14 ‘are now locked in my head’.
