Bodies of two men discovered

POLICE are investigating the deaths of two men after their bodies were discovered at a flat in Edinburgh.

The pair, believed to be aged 48 and 54, were found inside the property in the Muirhouse area in the north of the city around 6.30pm on Friday.

Emergency services made the grim discovery after being called to Oxcars Court in Muirhouse Grove.

Last night, police confirmed the deaths were being treated as unexplained.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: ‘Police in Edinburgh were called to a flat in Oxcars Court at around 6.30pm on Friday following the deaths of two men. The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained pending further inquiries and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.’
