Inbetweeners Laura: I need help to be sexy

- By Anastasia Komarova

SHE is the stunning actress whose character attracted the attentions of the lads in the comedy movie, The Inbetweeners.

But Laura Haddock insists she needs to be told what ‘sexy’ is.

In an exclusive interview for today’s You magazine, Ms Haddock says of being a sex symbol: ‘When a director says, “Can you do that again but make it sexier?” I think, “Right – you might need to let me know what you think is sexy.”’

Ms Haddock, 31, found fame playing Alison in the 2011 movie spin-off of the cult Channel 4 comedy The Inbetweeners. She married Hunger Games star Sam Claflin, 30, in 2013, and reveals the pressure to get back into shape after giving birth to son Pip in December 2015.

Speaking ahead of the release of her new movie, Transformers: The Last Knight, which also stars Sir Anthony Hopkins, she says: ‘I didn’t try to rush it. My body was different after giving birth – my hips were a different shape and I had to be careful about my stomach muscles.

‘All women who have just had a baby feel exposed and vulnerable, whether you’re walking down a street or being photographed on a red carpet. And I did think about the fact that [in the film] I’d be wearing figurehugging Victoria Beckham dresses.’
