ALLAN HAS NO REGRETS, ONLY A DRIVE TO SUCCEED AT DUNDEE
SCOTT ALLAN insists he holds no regrets about moving to Celtic as he fights to get his career back on track at Dundee.
The 25-year-old has joined the Taysiders on a season-long loan deal from Brendan Rodgers’ champions, having fallen out of the Parkhead picture and spent last season on loan at English Championship outfit Rotherham.
The Glasgow-born attacking midfielder is adamant he will not mull over why things have not turned out the way he would have liked when he first joined the Glasgow giants.
‘I don’t think you can have regrets,’ said Allan. ‘It was a big opportunity for me. At the time, I believed I was good enough to get into the Celtic team.
‘It has turned out not to be just now, but I can’t regret it. I just want to look forward and that means doing well here, finishing in the top-six and getting a good cup run.
‘It’s a big year for me. I wanted to get my career sorted as soon as possible and that means getting games and hopefully making an impact.’
