Seems a generation of teenagers have been inspired to pay more attention in history class after watching him in movie blockbuster Dunkirk. They took to Twitter in droves last week to express a sudden interest in the 1940 evacuation of Allied troops from the shores of France. One tweeted: ‘I don’t know enough about history and Harry Styles is fit.’ Another – aiming worryingly low – said: ‘Pretty sure Dunkirk will motivate me to get a B in history.’
