Missing girl’s father guilty of violence
FEARS were growing last night for the safety of a five-year-old girl thought to have been snatched by her violent father.
Police believe Molly Owens has been taken by Brian Owens, 26, who failed to appear before Caernarfon magistrates on Friday.
He was facing sentencing after being convicted of three counts of assault by beating and a charge of sending an offensive, indecent or menacing message.
Chief Inspector Sharon McCairn of North Wales police said: ‘We are concerned for Molly’s whereabouts.
‘I am issuing a direct appeal for Brian Owens to make contact with us to let us know both he and Molly are safe.’
Molly was reported missing from her home in Anglesey on Friday. She has collar-length blonde hair and blue eyes. Her father is 5ft 9in and slim, with brown hair and blue eyes.
